Hey all!This is me, believe or not, playing the steel pan drum in Taboago, West Indies. Yes! I took a lesson and successfully played Ave' Maria! I then continued on and bought a drum because I love they way they sound(maybe I was a little to caught up in the moment?). Someday there will be invites in the mail to a Carribbean party at my house! The steel pan drums orginated out of Tobago and after looking them up on Amazon.com in the little internet cafe there, I found I could have one shipped through Amazon and avoid duty and having to lug it through the airports. Maybe I will hit the Austin scene with my one woman band someday;)
